PRELIMINARY

• This contest ("Contest") is run and the prizes/ benefits are sponsored by sellers ("Seller/s") on www.flipkart.com, Flipkart Mobile App, Flipkart Lite Platform (all three collectively "Platform"), which Platform is owned and operated by Flipkart Internet Private Limited ("Flipkart").
• By participating in this Contest, user ("You", "Your" or "Participant") agrees to be bound by:
  
  • these terms and conditions ("T&C");
  • the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and other relevant documentation including any modifications, alterations or updates thereof, that are published on the Platform.
• The Contest period shall be as mentioned on the Contest homepage, which can be accessed via the Game Zone on the Platform (“Contest Period”).
• To participate in the Contest, you must do/ fulfill the following:
  
  • Age must be 18 years or above;
  • Must have a valid registered account on the Platform and log into the same;
  • Account must be linked to a mobile number verified with an Indian phone number on Flipkart;
  • Must have a made at least one valid transaction on the Flipkart platform and not cancelled or returned the product(s) purchased as part of this transaction;
  • Complete the activities which are listed on the Contest page to receive a chance to participate in the Contest; and
  • Enter the Contest page by clicking on the Play Now button which appears on Contest homepage, which can be accessed via the Game Zone on the Platform.
• Prize/benefit for each Contest shall be mentioned on the Contest homepage, along with the number of winners that will be declared for each prize/benefit.
• As part of the Contest, each question will be presented to you as an image along with a set of characters. For each question, you will be required to utilise the given set of characters to form the word that best represents the given image and submit your entry as the answer.
• The Contest will require you to answer 10 questions and each answer shall be considered valid only if it is submitted within 20 seconds from the appearance of the question (“Question Time”).
• Once Question Time has lapsed, the correct answer for each question shall be declared.
• You will be awarded 200 points for every correct answer submission and an additional time bonus of 1 point for every 1 second remaining between your answer submission and Question Time.
• For each Contest, you will entitled to skip one question of your choice by clicking on the Skip button, provided such right is exercised within the Question Time. With regard to the question that has been skipped by you, you shall be awarded points for correct answer submission but no time bonus.
• At the end of the Contest, all participants will be ranked in descending order of the total number of points accumulated by them and winners will be declared in the order of the number of winners demarcated against each prize/benefit listed on the Contest homepage.
• On the Contest leaderboard, which is available via the Game Zone on the Platform, the points will be shown as whole numbers while the actual scores are calculated up to three decimal places and ranks are demarcated accordingly.
• If two or more players have the same score up to three decimal places, ranks will be decided and demarcated on a randomised basis, without any weightage being given to any other variable.
• Winners will be declared within 48 hours from the end of the Contest Period and they can check their details in the winners list published on the Game Zone of the Platform. The prize/ benefit which they are entitled to will reflect, along with redemption instructions, on Platform > My Account > My Rewards, by April 2nd, 2019.
• Prizes/ benefits must be redeemed within 72 hours from the date when the prize/benefit reflects in the My Rewards section on the Platform.
• You acknowledge and confirm that You are aware of the nature of telecommunications/ internet services and that an email transmission may not be received properly and may be read or be known to any unauthorised persons. You agree to assume and bear all the risks involved in respect of such errors and misunderstanding and Flipkart shall not be responsible in any manner.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• This Contest is valid only in India.
• The Contest is open to only end consumers and not the resellers of the Products.
• Prizes shall not be settled with cash in lieu and are not transferable.
• Sellers and Flipkart reserve the right, at its sole discretion, to terminate, withdraw, suspend, amend, extend, modify, add or remove portions of this Contest, at any time without any prior written notice.
• Participants are not bound in any way to participate in this Contest. Any participation is voluntary and the Contest is being made purely on a best effort basis.
• Sellers and Flipkart reserve the right to disqualify You from the benefits of this Contest, if any fraudulent activity is identified as being carried out for the purpose of availing the benefits under this Contest.
• Sellers and Flipkart reserve the right to determine the winners and such determination shall be as per the terms of this T&C. The decision of Sellers and Flipkart in this regard shall be final.
• The Contest shall be subject to force majeure events and on occurrence of such an event, the Contest may be withdrawn at the discretion of Sellers and Flipkart.
• Sellers and Flipkart shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or any other liability arising due to participation by any person in this Contest.
• Flipkart will not entertain any correspondence regarding the validity or acceptability of any additional benefits offered by Sellers on the Platform and the same shall be at the sole risk and consequences of the Sellers.
• Flipkart does not endorse the products sold on the Platform and will not accept any liability pertaining to the quality, merchantability, fitness, delivery or after sales service of such products, which shall be at the sole liability and responsibility of the Sellers.
• You hereby agree to indemnify and keep Sellers and/ or Flipkart harmless against all damages, liabilities, costs, expenses, claims, suits and proceedings (including reasonable attorney's fee) that may be suffered by Sellers and/ or Flipkart as a consequence of (i) violation of terms of this T&C by You; (ii) violation of applicable laws by You; (iii) any action or inaction resulting in willful misconduct or negligence on Your part.
• This T&C shall be governed in accordance with the applicable laws in India. Courts at Bangalore shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute that may arise under this T&C.
• The Contest shall be subject to the Income-Tax Act, 1961 and all disbursements shall be subject to TDS, as applicable.
• This Contest is not applicable to: (i) all employees of Flipkart and its group companies; and (ii) any third party agencies that might have worked on this game, in any capacity whatsoever.
• Any query regarding this Contest will be entertained only for a period of 30 days from the end of the Contest Period. Post such date Flipkart will not entertain any correspondence or communication regarding this Contest from any persons.
• This document is an electronic record in terms of Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Rules there under as applicable and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records in various statutes as amended by the Information Technology Act, 2000.
